Join us on Thursday, August 20th for a virtual panel where we’ll discuss how to secure grant funding for animated projects. We’ll hear from artists who’ve received grants and professionals who work with granting institutions. After a 40 min panel, we’ll open up the panel to Q and A from you, so come ready with a mic and camera if you have questions!

A little more about our panelists:

Emory Allen is a Filipino-American animation director whose work lives in the inbetweens. He is a 2025 recipient of the McKnight Media Art Fellowship.

Adam Loomis is an animator, motion designer and filmmaker. He is a 2023 recipient of the Jerome Artist Development Grant.

Uzoma (Uzo) Ngwu is a Nigerian-American filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist. She’s a 2026 recipient of the inaugural Little Africa Art Residency.

Lee Smalt is a motion designer, web developer, and video producer. He advises the City of Fergus Falls on public art projects, artist selection, and community engagement.
