Thank you for your support and for joining us in moving the tax credit changes forward in the legislature. We now need your help!
Our tax credit bill is officially part of the Senate Tax Bill, but the House of Representatives are still working on their version of the tax bill. In order for our changes to become law, the Senate and House must agree on an Omnibus Tax Bill. They have many priorities right now, and we need the tax bill to pass!
While the outcome of the entire Minnesota Omnibus Tax Bill is out of our hands, one thing we can do is contact our leaders! We are asking you to please email your Senator and Representative today to encourage them to support bills SF4634 and HF4668. We want them to know what the film, TV, and commercial industry means to Minnesota and to you. It’s about income, your livelihood, and bringing more projects to our state. We want Minnesota stories to be told here and to have the infrastructure to make it happen. The bottom line is that we want our legislators to understand why our bill is so important to us.
